13-year-old Lewis Chatfield from Shropshire saw a bright white light like a large star which he estimated was the size of a football. He said it was like nothing he had ever seen before. It moved in short zig-zags but stopped over the sea and hovered for about a minute before flying off in the same zig-zag fashion.

Duration of sighting was 1 minute and 30 seconds.
