EARLY SUMMER 2014 - SWANSEA
SWANSEA
Sighting,UFO
Exact date in summer not known - ignore '06/01' in date panel.
Clear evening. Warm and fine.
Sleician Cullen lived in Port Tennant and thinks this sighting occurred in early summer as it was getting dark by 8 pm, which was the approximate time of the sighting. He had taken his dog to Maesteg Park in Port Tennant and it was running around in the rugby field at the top of the park when Sleician saw an object in the sky heading over Swansea city centre, having just come over Kilvey Hill and heading west. It was a large cube-shaped object, about the size of a house. It moved very slowly over the city as it headed towards Gower.
Sleician described it as being dark brown in colour and had lighter shades on different faces. He could make out markings like squiggles and lines on its sides. There was no sound and it did not spin or turn, but stayed level.
It travelled on a level path, about 1000 - 2000 feet in altitude. Sleician said that what struck him was that as it moved away from him towards the west, it didn't diminish in size, and was just as large over Brynmill as it had been over Kilvey Hill. Once past Brynmill it rapidly got smaller until he could see it no more over the Gower Peninsula. In all it had taken about 20 minutes to move from Kilvey Hill until it disappeared from sight in the distance.
