Darren Hembrow was at home in St. Thomas and saw a bright object in the morning sky, to the south-west, above the city centre St. Mary's Church tower, but much further away in the direction of Mumbles, below cloud level. He said it was extremely bright, like a mirror reflecting sunlight. It was about the size of a 5p piece. The object remained motionless for a while. When he looked again at 11.10 am, the object had gone.
