David Heddwyn Jones, a chiropodist had stood against a barbed wire fence at a roadside near Bala, when he saw a small triangular object, with a base of about 30 feet, hovering just a few feet above a field. He tried to peer towards the back of the object by walking to the left and right, as the wire was preventing him from entering the field.

He felt very puzzled that the object seemed to have no depth at all, and when it left, it appeared to be riding water waves, he said.
