5.50 PM. Slight haze.

A UFO investigator and writer from Ton-Pentre, was driving his car near Penderyn, in the company of two others, when he saw an object hovering over a hillside between the mountains to the south-south west, near a quarry.

He described the object as having red strobing lights, oblong lights and two central lights. Lights strobing 7 – 10 hta.

He reported the sighting to RAF St. Athan and local police.
