24 AUGUST 1998 – GOWERTON

A witness telephoned police from Gowerton at 12.30 AM, reporting a very bright white light in the eastern sky, which had been observed for the previous 10 minutes.

It was described as moving around in an ‘irregular orbit’, and had other lights on it.

The police checked with the coastguard, who had had no other reports.
