22 JULY 2016 - PONTYATES, CARMARTHENSHIRE
PONTYATES, CARMARTHENSHIRE
Sighting,UFO,Lights
About 2.15 AM. Clear sky.
Liam Allcock (17) was at home in Maesgwyn, Pontyates. He was outside having a cigarette when he looked up to the south-east and saw at a 60-degree angle what at first he thought was a satellite, a white light heading in a straight line from south-west to north-east, but then changed course to its right then left, regaining its original course. It then slowed slightly, stopped for an instant and then shot off quickly backwards towards the south-west but upwards at an angle into space, Liam losing sight of it as it went.
Total duration of sighting: about 10 seconds. Shortly afterwards, Liam's TV had interference for about 15-20 seconds.
